Week In The Life

I have a little confession to make. It's probably no big deal to anyone else but myself, but I still feel a little guilty. You see, I haven't played with my paper (done any scrapbooking in general) in the past 2 months. Why? Well, I really don't have an answer for that. I went to my sister's house in Wyoming back in February and while there I opened a can of worms: I started sewing. I made two skirts while I was at her house. Then when I came home, I told my MIL about the fun I was having and she gave me an old serger she wasn't using. So more sewing was had. Since then I'm made 5 more skirts, 3 shirts, and 2 dresses. I've gone a bit crazy. You know that biblical saying: "You can't serve two masters?" Well, apparently it is hard to enjoy more than one hobby simultaneously as well. But the thing is, I WANT to. So that is why I am writing this post today. I want to be able to do a little of each, instead of leaving one or the other completely in the dust.  And you know what? I have the perfect solution to this little conundrum: Ali Edwards' Week in the Life. I have participated in the project twice over the last 4 years, but never at the same time as she did. This time I'm going to do it along with thousands of other ladies at the same time. I think this will help jump-start me back into the world of paper play. The dates are set for next week, so its time to get ready. Preparation is on the docket for today for sure.

Paper pretties: here I come.
