Playing Along

I love that Costco is so cheap on their print prices! It lets me do fun things like using a HUGE photo on a scrapbook page like I did here on my "Field Trip" page. I printed this photo wanting to do something fun with it but it wasn't until I came across the sketch from Creative Scrappers that I figured out a way to incorporate it on a page. Here is the sketch:
As you can see, I changed things up a bit by first turning the sketch a quarter turn to the right. I then used the large photo as the linear element on the page and used the corrugated cardboard as the circular element. I think it is funny how sometimes when I use a sketch, I stick pretty close to the idea; then there are other times when I take bits and pieces of it. But its all fun. And besides, there are no rules when it comes to creativity.

Creative Scrappers is a fun challenge blog that I came across last week and I love the creativity and inspiration I found there. I will definitely be visiting their site more. Hooray for the cyber world of scrapbooking!
