House Of Art

So I can't keep the good news all to myself anymore. I have been chosen to participate in a scrapbooking design team for House of Art Kits and I am thrilled! This brand-new kit club is in the process of its initial launch, so you'll be hearing a lot about them here on my blog as I help them get their word out. I am more than excited to get to work with these great ladies. (For links to the other designers' blogs check the Paper and Glue page and look under House of Art Kits.)

Here is a little note about scrapbooking kit clubs. They are fantastic! Participating in a kit club is truly what jumpstarted my scrabooking. I worked for the first few months after Liliane was born and didn't have a lot of time to put in the way of scrapbooking. When I quit my job and got to be home, Liliane was 5 months old. It was around that same time that I saught out a kit club to join. I've since been a member of a couple different company's kits, but through it all I have recognized that there is a significant difference in the volume of layouts that I produce when I am a member of a club as opposed to when I am not.

The great thing about kits is that they do the hard part for you. They put together coordinating papers and accents/embellishments so you don't have to. You just have to put the stuff to use in any way you want. So now you have my opinion. I love scrapbook kits. And I am so very excited to get to work with the stuff that House of Art will be putting out. So if you, or anyone you know, wants to join a kit club, send them over to House of Art. I am sure you/they will be more than happy with that choice. :)
