Here are February's pages for Scrap Again design team. I actually did 2 other layouts with the kit as well, but these three were my favorites. The first features Wesley's baby announcement. Its simple but it works.
The next layout uses a picture from our trip to St. George a few weeks ago. Ahhh. I miss that 65 degree weather... It is another simple layout, but it fits the bill. The item to use this month was tulle. I can honestly say using tulle on a layout was a first for me.
For the Gray layout I covered chipboard hearts with several layers of orange tulle. I then trimmed the tulle to be a little bit larger than the hearts. I am loving the result!
The next layout lends a lot more play. I incorporated tulle on this page by creating little flowers with button centers. This was a fluke, but could easily be duplicated. All you do is take a small rectangular piece of tulle, twist it up into a ball, and then flatten it with your fingers and sew a button through the center. Try it and see what you come up with!
