St. George

We took an impulse trip to St. George this past weekend to escape the terrible inversion around home. Liliane had a great time! She travels really well for a toddler, and I couldn't be more grateful. We decided Friday morning that we needed a break so we took off that afternoon. We got into St. George around 6:00 pm. We checked in at our hotel then went to grab a bite to eat at Applebee's. Saturday we spent our time browsing the outlets, eating more good food, and taking a tour of Brigham Young's winter home and the Rosenbruch Wildlife Museum. We swam at the hotel in their nice warm pool, and relaxed at the hotel in the evening. Sunday we went to the temple to see the grounds and the visitors center and took a walk along the Virgin River trail. We headed back home around 1:00 pm and made good time on our arrival.
Liliane loved getting to stroll around the temple grounds. (I keep hoping that hair of hers will fill in and stay down. We'll see.) She is so independent! I've been noticing it more and more lately and it's a little funny. She is starting to insist that she use a fork to eat her meals, even though she doesn't quite have a handle on getting her food onto it. I love her. She is such a sweetheart. I listened to her say "I love you" to her stuffed animal, Fluffy, on the way home. She is so fun! We had a great time away but it is time to get back to business come Monday.
