Scrapbook Paint

I've been busy again with my paper crafts... but what else is new? I've been dabbling with scrapbook paint and I've enjoyed the results! I thought I'd share some of my successes :)

The two pictures above depict how I used the scrapbook paint for adding a title to a page. (The first pictures is most accurate color-wise.) I used a fine paint brush and scrapbook paint to spell the title. When it dried I went back and outlined each of the letters so they would stand out.

For my "Darling" layout, I used a die-cut butterfly as a mask and painted over the shape so I could use the open unpainted space to add my journaling. I love the texture this technique adds to a layout!

For the layout pictured  below, I used a chipboard flourish as a stamp. (You can see it in detail above.) I painted the flourish with a blue paint and applied it to the layout, and then repeated it down the left side of the page. I love how it turned out!
